On April 2, double homicide defendant William Holloman received a July trial date from Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa K. Copeland.

Holloman, 18, is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, firearm use in a felony violent crime, conspiracy to use a firearm in a felony violent crime and having a handgun on his person in connection to the fatal shooting of Clark Hohrein.

The prosecution offered Holloman a plea deal. The offer was life in prison, suspending all but  50 years,  followed by five years of probation for first-degree murder. Holloman and his attorney, Roya Hanna, rejected this offer.

Judge Copeland scheduled a six-day trial beginning on July 17 before Judge Melissa M. Phinn.

According to documents issued by the District Court of Maryland, on July 1, 2021, a Baltimore Police Department (BPD) officer driving along the 600 block of West Mulberry Street found Hohrein, 38, lying on the sidewalk, bleeding from a gunshot wound. An investigation revealed that Holloman was allegedly present at the scene along with two other suspects.
