On Jan. 31, a trial date was set for Dariel Doncha’e Glenn, a 26-year-old accused of attempted murder.

Glenn is charged with nine counts including attempted first-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault, firearm use in a felony violent crime, firearm possession with a felony conviction, having a handgun on his person, firing and discharging a weapon, illegal possession of ammunition and reckless endangerment. The incident occurred on Aug. 27, 2023.

The prosecutor offered a plea bargain of a life sentence, suspending all but 30 years, with five years of probation for attempted first-degree murder and a concurrent 10 years without the possibility of parole for the first five years for firearm use in a felony violent crime. Glenn hasn’t responded to the offer.

Glenn appeared with his attorney, Natalie Finegar, before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa K. Copeland, who set the trial date for April 2 on her docket.
