On June 20, at around 5 p.m., members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Baltimore Police Department’s Gun Violence Unit apprehended 29-year-old Tyree Wells of Baltimore.
Detectives believe that Wells shot and killed 24-year-old Jordan Taylor on June 12 on the 1700 block of Ramsay Street.
Detectives transported Wells to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with first-degree murder and additional charges.
On June 12, at approximately 9:39 a.m., officers responded to the 1700 block of Ramsay Street to investigate a reported shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located a 24-year-old Jordan Taylor lying in the rear yard, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. Medics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
