A Baltimore teenager charged in the shooting of a 13-year-old boy was scheduled for an October jury trial on June 18 after a judge denied his request to transfer the case to juvenile court.
Antonio Ennals, 18, will be charged as an adult on charges of attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, firearm use in a felony violent crime, and several counts of conspiracy.
During pre-trial proceedings on June 3, Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Charles M. Blomquist denied Ennals a reverse waiver request for the case to be tried in juvenile court. Ennals entered a not guilty plea on June 16.
According to charging documents, on Nov. 16, 2025, Baltimore Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert on the 2200 block of McCulloh Street. Upon arrival, officers found a 13-year-old boy suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital for surgery.
Investigators reviewed CitiWatch footage that showed two males withdrawing firearms and shooting at the victim. Ennals was later identified as one of the two alleged suspects. The victim also reportedly identified Ennals, who is known as “Bink,” as a shooter during a police interview.
The state has yet to convey a plea offer to Ennals, and the case remains open.
Ennals’ case is now scheduled to proceed to trial on Oct. 7 before Judge Anthony F. Vittoria.
