Hospital Reports Non-Fatal Shooting Victim in Central District

On May 9, at approximately 8:40 p.m., Central District officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to an area hospital to investigate a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 26-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower right leg. The victim is currently in stable condition.

Central District shooting detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.

Detectives are attempting to locate a crime scene.
