On March 1, non-fatal shooting defendant Tyrone Moulden accepted a plea deal via his attorney Janet Andersen before Judge Jeffrey M. Geller. The 42-year-old will serve two concurrent sentences of five years with three years of supervised probation for charges of first-degree assault and firearm use in a felony violent crime.

Moulden was charged with attempted first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, illegal possession of a regulated firearm, possession of firearms during a controlled dangerous substance offense, using a firearm in a felony violent crime, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, having a handgun on his person, having a loaded handgun in his vehicle, illegally possessing ammunition, discharging a firearm and two counts of possessing a firearm with a felony conviction.

Court documents indicate that on the evening of June 18, 2023, Moulden received a call from his cousin and co-defendant to come shoot her child’s grandmother regarding an ongoing dispute. Moulden drove to the 2300 block of Montebello Terrace and shot the victim, who sustained an injury to her forehead.

On March 25, Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Lynn S. Mays placed his co-defendant’s case on the stet docket under the condition she cannot have any contact with the victim, her child’s grandmother. Otherwise, the charges could be refiled.
