The case of a 34-year-old attempted homicide defendant was dismissed on March 23 when the assistant state’s attorney’s request for postponement was denied.
Baltimore resident Tavon Bryant was charged with attempted first and second-degree murder as well as multiple assault, reckless endangerment, and firearms charges in an incident on Dec. 19, 2020.
He was represented by defense attorney Michael Tomko.
Bryant last appeared in court in February when he was denied bail, having rejected a plea offer last October. During his bail review, Tomko informed Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Charles J. Peter that there was no victim or gun found in the case.
