29-Year-Old Man Shot in Groin

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the early morning of Aug. 23. 

According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 1000 block of New Hope Circle around 3:02 a.m. for reports of a shooting, where a 29-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot to the groin. 

The victim was transported to an area hospital, where his injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
