A 23-year-old man has been arrested for the attempted murder of a 40-year-old man on July 17.
The Baltimore Police Department has reported the arrest of Desmond Powell, 23, after the incident on the 5500 block of Bowley’s Lane, where a 40-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot wound.
Witnesses were interviewed, physical evidence was collected and analyzed, and video footage was reviewed. Detectives were able to identify the suspect and obtained an arrest warrant.
On July 21, members of the Warrant Task Force arrested Powell in the 200 block of W. Pratt Street, without incident.
Following his arrest, Powell was transported to Central Booking, where he has been charged with first-degree attempted murder, first and second-degree assault, and various firearms violations.
Desmond Powell remains in Central Booking and is being held without bail.
