The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a non-fatal shooting in the afternoon on Jan. 24.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 3000 block of Monument Street at approximately 4:22 p.m. for reports of shots being fired, where they found a 19-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The medics took the victim to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators believe the victim was shot while on the 500 block of N. Kenwood Avenue, police said.
