On Aug. 13, at approximately 1:28 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department responded to the 1600 block of Wilkens Avenue, for a report of a shooting.
Once there, officers located a crime scene inside of a business in that block. No victims were on scene.
Moments later, officers were dispatched to an area hospital in reference to a walk-in shooting victim.
Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim was immediately taken into surgery for treatment of life-threatening wounds.
