50-Year-Old Man Arrested in Connection to Fatal East Baltimore Stabbing

In reference to a fatal stabbing that occurred June 20 in the Eastern District, investigators have arrested 50-year-old Toi Stukes of Baltimore.

Stukes was wanted in connection to the death of 56-year-old Shonda Singleton, who was found deceased at an East Baltimore home with multiple lacerations to her body.

On June 20, at approximately 1:40 p.m., Eastern District officers responded to the residence in reference to a cutting. Medics transported Singleton to an area hospital, where she was pronounced deceased shortly after.

On June 26, Stukes was served with a warrant for first-degree murder while receiving treated at an area hospital. Following treatment, Stukes will be transferred to the Central Booking & Intake Facility
