In reference to the shooting that occurred in the Northeast District on Feb. 2, investigators have arrested 45-year-old Antawn Venable of Baltimore.
Investigators learned that Venable shot the 39-year-old female victim during a domestic incident on the 5000 block of Midwood Avenue.
A detailed description of the suspect was dispatched to officers who located Venable at 1:30 a.m., on the 1000 block of East 33rd Street. Officers transported Antawn Venable to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with attempted first-degree murder.
On Feb. 2, at approximately 12:32 a.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.
Once there, officers located a 39-year-old female suffering from apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Investigators learned that the shooting occurred on the 5000 block of Midwood Avenue.
