On June 19, at approximately 3:04 a.m., Northwest District patrol officers were called to the 3700 block of Rosedale Street for a report of an assault in progress.
Once there, officers located Alvaro Santana, 26, inside of a residence, who appeared to be unresponsive. Officers conducted a forced entry in an attempt to render aid to the victim who was pronounced dead on the scene.
