On Feb. 15, Lemel Walker received an April trial date from Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa K. Copeland.
Walker is charged with a firearm/drug trafficking crime, carrying a loaded handgun, discharging a gun in Baltimore City and possession of narcotics with the intent to distribute.
For carrying a loaded handgun, the prosecution offered Walker five years in prison and a requirement to register as a gun offender.
Walker and his defense attorney, Christopher O’Meara, rejected the offer.
Judge Copeland then scheduled a one-day jury trial for April 5 in front of Judge Althea M. Handy.
