Breanna Pompey is a sophomore Criminology & Criminal Justice student at the University of Maryland, College Park. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree, she intends to go to law school and become a criminal defense lawyer. She chose to work at Baltimore Witness because people who find themselves involved in the criminal justice system are often left in the dark about how it works. As someone who calls Baltimore home, she is excited to make the criminal justice system more accessible and transparent to people in my city.
