A Baltimore man involved in a non-fatal shooting accepted a plea of time served on April 26 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn.

Shaquan Quarles, 24, was charged with two counts of third-degree sexual offense, sexual solicitation of a minor, false imprisonment, second-degree assault, concealing a deadly weapon, and discharging a firearm in connection to an incident on Jan. 1, 2021.

Judge Phinn listened as the prosecutor presented a plea of 10 years suspending all but time served with five years supervised probation for second-degree assault.

Quarles and his defense attorney, James Sweetings III, accepted the plea.
