On Feb. 26, at approximately 6:32 p.m., Baltimore Police Department (BPD) officers responded to the 500 block of Edgewood Avenue for a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located a 29-year-old Dion Blackwell suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper torso.
The victim was transported to Shock Trauma where despite medical professionals’ efforts, he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
Homicide detectives responded out and are investigating this murder.
