A man accused of murder barricaded himself in his home and fired a gun at Baltimore Police Department officers on Nov. 26 when they attempted to serve an arrest warrant.
According to a news release, officers attempted to serve the suspect with an arrest warrant around 6:45 p.m. on Nov. 26 on the 1200 block of Loyola Northway. The man then barricaded himself inside and fired a gun at police several times.
No injuries were reported, as SWAT, Baltimore’s Crisis Response Team, and hostage negotiation units responded to the scene.
Shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Nov. 27, police said, the suspect surrendered and was taken into custody without incident.
