On Aug. 24, an 18-year-old Baltimore man accused of murder rejected a plea of life, scheduling his trial for January 2023 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn.
Sahiou Kargbo, who is represented by defense attorney Todd Oppenheim, is charged with first-degree murder, use of a firearm during a felony violent crime, having a handgun on his person and possession of a firearm as a minor in connection to an incident that occurred on Jan. 25.
According to Fox 45, officers responded to a shooting on Walker Avenue just west of Loch Raven Boulevard around 2:43 p.m. They found a male victim in a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Kargbo’s trial is scheduled for Jan. 30, 2023, and is expected to last 7-10 days, with Judge Yolanda A. Tanner presiding.
