The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting in the evening of July 28.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 600 block of W. Lexington Street around 6:07 p.m. for reports of a cutting, where an adult man was found inside an apartment suffering from stab wounds.
The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene by medics.
Officers also found inside the same apartment was the suspect, an adult male, along with the weapon. That weapon was recovered and will be submitted as evidence.
The victim’s remains have been transported to the medical examiner’s office and the suspect was taken into custody. Charges are forthcoming.
Both the victim’s and the suspect’s ages and identifications are pending as this investigation is open and ongoing.
