A Baltimore man charged with the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old man rejected a plea offer in reception court on Sept. 17 at Baltimore City Circuit Court.
Ricky Robinson, 31, is charged with first-degree murder and firearm use in a violent crime in connection to the incident on Feb. 2.
According to CBS Baltimore, Robinson allegedly shot 25-year-old Terrell Billie on the 5200 Block of Park Heights Avenue. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.
Robinson was offered a plea of life, suspending all but 60 years with the first five years without parole for first-degree murder. Defense attorney Gil Amaral rejected the offer on his client’s behalf.
Judge Melissa M. Phinn scheduled the case for trial on March 3, 2022.
