Defendant Acquitted of Attempted Murder

A defendant was acquitted of attempted murder on Jan. 10 before  Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Barry G. Williams

Marrico Bell, 44, was found not guilty of attempted first-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault and firearm usage in a felony or violent crime. However, the jury found Bell guilty for firearm possession with a felony conviction, illegal possession of ammunition and firing a gun in Baltimore City.

For firearm possession with a felony conviction, Bell was sentenced to three years, suspending all, and supervised probation. Bell also faces concurrent sentences for illegal possession of ammunition and firing a gun in Baltimore City .
