A 46-year-old man charged with discharging firearms and four other firearm possession was given more time to consider a plea offer due to many health problems.
His defense attorney, Linda Zeit, requested a postponement for her client as he is considering accepting the plea offer but is too ill to make a decision.
The prosecution offered the defendant 10 years, suspending all but four years, and three years of probation. The defendant must also register as a gun offender.
The case will return to reception court on Jan. 14, 2022.
