The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the evening of Oct. 15.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 2600 block of Wilkens Avenue at 7:54 p.m. for reports of a shooting, where 53-year-old Santos Munoz-Hernandez was found suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after.
Homicide investigators were summoned and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone who has information about this incident is urged to contact detectives at 410-396-2100.
