Baltimore Man Found Shot in Leg

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the evening of Aug. 23. 

According to a news release, officers were called to the 3000 block of Oakley Avenue at 5 p.m. for reports of shots being fired, where officers met a woman who advised her son had been shot and mentioned that her son went to the hospital on his own. 

Officers responded to an area hospital, where a 34-year-old man was found suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot to his left leg. 

Northwest District shooting detectives are investigating this incident.
