The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shot spotter alert in the late afternoon on April 29.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 1200 block of Greenmount Avenue around 4:02 p.m. for a shot spotter alert, where they found a man suffering from a gunshot to his abdomen.
The victim was transported to an area hospital where he is in serious condition.
