A 30-year-old man has been arrested for the shooting of a 23-year-old woman on June 26.

The Baltimore Police Department has reported the arrest of John Maxwell Holland, 30, exactly eight weeks after the incident on the 2500 block of Liberty Heights Avenue, where a 23-year-old woman was found suffering from a gunshot, leaving her critically injured following a dispute.

Investigators also later located a 19-year-old female victim suffering from a graze wound that was also injured in that same shooting.

On August 5, Warrant Apprehension detectives arrested repeat violent offender John Maxwell Holland, while in the 600 block of North Highland Avenue.

Following his arrest, Holland was taken to Central Booking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault.
