On March 25, Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa K. Copeland set a trial date for 38-year-old Darryl Davis.
Davis is charged with attempted second-degree murder, two counts of first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, firearm use in a felony violent crime, illegal possession of a firearm, firearm possession with a felony conviction, wearing and carrying of a firearm and fire and discharge of a firearm.
According to a Baltimore Police Department press release, Davis was charged regarding an incident on the 1900 block of Windsor Avenue after allegedly shooting a 41-year-old woman.
The prosecution offered Davis a plea deal of 25 years for the charge of attempted second-degree murder. Davis rejected this offer.
Judge Copeland set the trial date for May 22. The trial is expected to last three days. Davis will appear with his attorney Christopher O’Meara in front of Judge John Addison Howard.
