A 54-year-old defendant had his trial scheduled for December on Oct. 4 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn.
Eric Harcum is charged with attempted first-degree murder, second-degree murder, two counts of first and second-degree assault, two counts of reckless endangerment, and two counts of use of a deadly weapon with intent to injure in connection to a crime on March 5.
The defendant was expected to stand trial on Tuesday , but due to the prosecution being unprepared the trial was postponed.
The new trial date for the defendant is scheduled for Dec. 12, and it is expected to last three days.
This case is expected to be presented before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Mickey J. Norman.
