Scheduled Homicide Case Not Called in Reception Court

A homicide case scheduled for reception court on July 22 was not called in Baltimore City Circuit Court.

Baltimore resident Lamont Mealy, 50, is charged with first-degree murder, firearm use in a violent crime, firearm possession with a felony conviction, and giving a false statement to an officer.

Mealy’s next appearance is scheduled for reception court on Aug. 17 in courtroom 540 of the Cummings Courthouse.
