Yihan Zhao has enjoyed traveling around the world with compassionate eyes since a young age, She is determined to devote her future studies and career to promoting truth and justice as a social scientist. Yihan is pursuing a double degree in Criminology & Criminal Justice and Economics, and Minoring in Law and Society at the University of Maryland – College Park. She is a senior who constantly challenges herself to sharpen her view and broaden her perspectives. Baltimore Witness provides her with a platform to learn and thrive with a group of amazing individuals. In the future, she aims to practice criminal law in a non-profit organization and work to better the lives of individuals from all backgrounds.
