A post-conviction hearing was canceled on Dec. 12 for a Baltimore man currently serving a life sentence plus 20 years for killing his girlfriend over a decade ago.
Daniel Sullivan, 42, was sentenced to life for first-degree murder and a consecutive 20 years for handgun use in committing a crime on May 9, 2012. The defendant was scheduled for a Zoom collateral hearing at 2 p.m. Monday before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Videtta Brown, but was canceled, according to Court Reporting Services.
The Baltimore Sun reported on Sullivan’s conviction when the jury found Sullivan guilty of using his girlfriend’s gun to fatally shoot another girlfriend, Keenya Jordan.
The original trial was held before Judge Jeannie Hong and lasted one week, the Maryland Judiciary website states.
