A Baltimore man charged with the murder of 39-year-old Kennod Taylor in May will be tried before a jury of his peers in the new year following his case’s postponement on Nov. 22.
Myron Watson is facing first-degree murder and three weapons charges and is scheduled for trial on April 10, 2023.
Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn scheduled his new trial date nearly a year after he allegedly gunned down Taylor on the 3000 block of E. Preston Street around 9:43 p.m. on May 9.
Baltimore Police believe the shooting stemmed from an argument between the defendant and the victim.
Watson, 35, is currently represented by defense attorney Robert Ness.
