Homicide defendant Christopher Straham and his defense council did not receive a plea from the prosecution because the prosecuting attorney has been recently hospitalized on July 19.

Straham, 25, is charged with first-degree murder, use of a deadly weapon, armed robbery, and attempted armed robbery in connection to an incident that occured on Dec. 2, 2016.

Straham was represented by defender Sharon Bogins. Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa K. Copeland presided over the hearing.

Straham’s trial date has been scheduled for Jan. 17. It is expected to last four days.
