A 68-year-old man charged accepted a plea offer of 5 years in prison before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn on June 14.
Paul Lundy initially faced 11 charges, including first and second-degree attempted murder, first and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, use of a firearm during a violent crime, possession of a firearm with a felony conviction, illegal possession of a regulated firearm, having a handgun on his person, discharging firearms, and illegal possession of ammo in connection to an incident on Nov. 27, 2021.
On Tuesday, the prosecutor offered Lundy a plea that would drop 10 charges, including first and second-degree attempted murder, if the defendant pleaded guilty to illegal possession of ammunition.
Under the offer, Lundy is slated to serve five years in prison after he has already been incarcerated for 199 days.
