A 20-year-old Baltimore man charged with attempted murder had all charges dropped by the prosecution on April 5 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa Phinn.
Keyontae Everett was charged with first and second-degree attempted murder, first and second-degree assault, use of a firearm during a violent crime, possession of a firearm as a minor, having a handgun on his person, reckless endangerment, and discharging a firearm within the city in connection to an incident on Sept. 11, 2021.
During reception court on Thursday, Judge Phinn listened as the prosecutor entered a nolle pros, dropping all charges.
Everett was represented by defense attorney Bradley MacFee and Kenneth Man.
According to Baltimore Fox, on Sept. 11, 2021, officers were called to the 3400 block of East Lombard Street at approximately 9:34 p.m. for reports of shots being fired. They found evidence of a shooting, but no victim.
