On Jan. 16, Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Levi S. Zaslow postponed the sentencing of a woman who was charged with conspiring to shoot her friend.
This is the fourth postponement in the case of 20-year-old Markia Vaughn, who accepted the prosecution’s plea offer of 20 years, suspending all but time served, and five years of supervised provision for conspiracy to commit both first-degree murder and armed robbery. The charges are related to a February 2022 shooting that left the victim with a gunshot wound to the neck.
Vaughn, who is represented by defense attorney Koryn High, was not present.
Judge Zaslow reset the sentencing to March 10.
