The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting late at night on Feb. 6.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 2800 block of Rosalind Avenue at approximately 11:56 p.m. for reports of shots being fired, where they found a 48-year-old man suffering from an apparent non-life threatening gunshot wound.
The medics took the victim to an area hospital for treatment.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was sleeping inside of his residence, when a bullet came through the wall and struck the victim.
