A 20-year-old man was injured in a shooting while driving on Dec. 16 after hearing what he thought were fireworks.
Around 7:30 p.m., the Baltimore Police Department reported, officers were called to the 4200 block of Fairfield Run and found the victim with a gunshot wound to his right forearm.
The victim told police he was driving through the 4800 block of Parkside Avenue when he thought he heard fireworks before realizing he was shot. He then pulled over on Fairfield Run and called police.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.
