The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) is investigating the fatal shooting of a 7-year-old boy on Dec. 30.
According to a news release, officers were called to 2100 block of Presbury Street at 5:06 p.m., for reports of a shooting. On arrival, officers found Dylan King suffering from a gunshot to his head and rendered aid until medics arrived.
The victim was taken to John Hopkins Pediatrics Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Also on the premises was an 18-year-old male was taken into police custody and transported to an area hospital, where he is undergoing a psychiatric evaluation.
