Young Adult Shot in Leg on Locust Street

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a non-fatal shooting in the evening on March 7. 

According to a news release, officers were called to the 1600 block of Locust Street at approximately 7:16 p.m. for reports of a shooting, where they found a 23-year-old man suffering from a gunshot in the right leg. 

The medics took the victim to an area hospital with a non-life threatening injury. 

Southern District shooting detectives are investigating this incident and are asking anyone with information to call (410) 396-2499.
