Young Adult Arrested for First-Degree Murder

A 21-year-old man was arrested for the murder of a 21-year-old man on June 15. 

The Baltimore Police Department has reported the arrest of Antonio Purisima, 21, exactly two months after the incident on the 2200 block of Ashton Street around 6:09 a.m. where Kevin Moody, 21, was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. 

The victim was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead by medical personnel after succumbing to his injuries.

On August 12, investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Purisima. 

Following his arrest, Purisima is currently being held at the Baltimore City Central Booking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with first-degree murder.
