The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the early morning on Aug. 30 that left a woman injured.
According to a press release, around 1:10 a.m., officers were called for reports of gunfire on the 1600 block of West North Avenue. Officers found evidence of gunfire as well as a 46-year-old female with a gunshot wound to her leg nearby.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact detectives at 410-396-2477.
