The Baltimore Police Department updated the public July 13 about a homicide that took place on the 1800 block of S. Monroe Street two days before.
According to a press release, the victim was 28-year-old Candace Acevedo. She was found dead at the Russell Street overpass on July 11.
As of Tuesday, there have been 182 homicides in Baltimore in 2021.
