Wilkens Avenue Shooting Victim Suffers Graze Wound

On Sept. 11, at approximately 1:35 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Once there, Baltimore Police Department officers located a 54-year-old male suffering from a graze wound to the head.

Officers learned the victim was involved in a physical altercation while on the 2100 block of Wilkens Avenue when he was shot.

Update: As of Sept. 17, BPD determined that this victim was not shot. This case has been removed from BPD’s citywide non-fatal shooting numbers.
