Western District Victim Sustains Shooting Injury

On July 5, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Western District officers responded to the 1900 block of Mckean Avenue to investigate a ShotSpotter alert. 

Upon arrival, Baltimore Police Department officers located a 20-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the thigh. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.  

Western District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Western District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2477.
