A 40-year-old Baltimore man is awaiting a new sentencing date after his hearing was postponed on Dec. 22.
Robert Edwards was found guilty of voluntary manslaughter last August for the fatal stabbing of 59-year-old John Gillian in 2021. His sentencing was originally scheduled in November 2022, but was pushed to the following month when it was postponed for the second time before Judge Paul Cucuzzella.
According to the Maryland Judiciary website, Edwards is scheduled to appear again on March 29.
