Victim Found by Police after Being Shot and Stabbed on East Street

On February 11, 2023 at approximately 11:14 p.m., Southeast District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 200 block of St. Mathews Street, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 35-year-old male suffering from a stab wound and gunshot wound to the upper body.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot and stabbed while in the 200 block of East Street. The victim then walked to the 200 block of St. Mathews Street, seeking help.
