A man who allegedly drove a vehicle while intoxicated resulting in a fatal accident was scheduled for trial on Sept. 22 at Baltimore City Circuit Court.
Joshua Mendoza, 27, is charged in connection to an incident on September 3, 2019. The charges include vehicular manslaughter, vehicular manslaughter due to criminal negligence, homicide by vehicle while under the influence, homicide by vehicle due to intoxication, and five traffic violations.
Since Mendoza is currently in federal custody after violating home detention, defense attorney Marshall Henslee asked Judge Melissa M. Phinn to schedule the case for trial.
Another trial date was set for March 14, 2022.
